Everyone wants to be heard, and I am here to listen.
Hi, I’m Edward. I'm a listener, product manager, ux researcher, and problem solver.
I graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelor's degree in Informatics (Human–computer interaction) and am currently pursuing a Master of Science in integrated design, business, and technology at the University of Southern California.
Ever since I was little, I was taught to listen more and speak less, because listening helps form a better connection and relationship between people, which can provide valuable input on things that are not being said.
This skill has been with me throughout my entire life and has helped me tremendously by giving me the upper hand when it comes to producing a human-centered design product. Listening more and with curiosity helped me become a product
manager and ux researcher who takes users' feedback to heart, which motivates me to find the best solution for them. When it comes to products, I have the mindset of putting the user first. With that philosophy, I was given the NACAS 2020
Innovative Achievement Award for a product I designed called Level Up, launched a minimum viable product (MVP) and many other features on the website for Internet Brands to increase SEO score, user traffic, conversion rate, and provide a
better user experience.
With my experience and academic background, I want to create user-driven experiences and engaging designs that make lasting impressions on people.
