User & Stakeholder Interviews Sketching Wireframes Prototyping
Conducted over 10 interviews with student employees and operation managers. My questions mainly focused on what data are the most important for them, how often they view this data, and any feedback on the current UI design.
After conducting all the interviews, I decided to use nielsen's ten heuristic evaluation to help me identify the usability problems and make improvement on the redesign.
I created the wireframes for couple of the main pages to which allows me to present my ideas to the managers.
I created the user flow chart to indicate a visualization of the website
Prototype was created after I got approval of the wireframes from operation managers. After I finished the prototype, I routed the prototype to all the managers and other full- time staff for second round of approval.
